PowerSupply_DualRail-Series Extra Notes This circuit is mainly intended for audio amplifiers requiring dual power rails but can be used for many other applications. You should read carefully and understand how this circuit works before you use it (especially high current versions). Theory: The Negative Rail (still being of a positive voltage) boosts the Positive Rail (like batteries in series). The Negative Rail negative line takes the negative "series" electron flow between the 2 voltage regulators. The 0v/ground line is really only the Positive Rail negative return providing a half/divided voltage from the series setup. (In theory both regulator rails could still be used as an independent half series voltage source.) The 0v/ground line must be adjusted to having both Positive and Negative Rails set to the same output voltage (use a good meter). Future Safety? Add rail protection current rated diodes (1 out, 1 ground, 1 negative rail)? Add more rail protection diodes in parallel (1 @ V+ to ground, 1 @ ground to V-)?
